Virginia Beard

Virginia Beard was a Research Associate at Public Policy Associates, Inc from January 2006 to December 2007. Virginia is currently a Trustee at Hope College.

Virginia Beard completed their high school education at Klein High School, where they graduated suma cum laude. Virginia then went on to Calvin University, where they earned their BA in political science with a focus on international development. After completing their undergraduate degree, they attended Michigan State University, where they earned their Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on public administration, public policy, and international development. Finally, they returned to Michigan State University to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in political science and government with a focus on public policy and comparative politics in Africa.
