Betsy Sohn

Betsy Sohn is an experienced leader in community development and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Development and Impact at Hope Community, Inc. since February 2002, where responsibility includes managing grant requests and building partnerships with funders. Prior roles include directing community resilience initiatives and serving as a key member of the Community Engagement Team. Betsy founded and managed SohnWorks, focusing on community-centered projects and public art, including the significant "Water Spells" project. As a co-founder of Oakfolk Films, contributions were made to a documentary highlighting environmental conservation efforts along the Mississippi River. Early career experience includes project management within Partners Three Company, where significant renovations and community projects were overseen. Betsy holds a degree from Macalester College.
