Heather Helberg, MS, LPC-S, has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Heather began their career as a Sr Field Sales Rep at Tracfone in 2004 and later served as a Prepaid Product Manager at Dobson Communications before joining Cricket Communications as an Indirect Account Manager. In 2009, they became a Microsoft Market Trainer at Mosaic, where they trained tech and sales departments on Microsoft hardware and software. Heather then transitioned into the field of mental health, working as a Certified Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist and Case Manager at Red Rock Bhs. Heather also held the role of Social Services Director at HCR ManorCare.
From 2011 to 2014, Heather worked at Choices Counseling & Skills Center as a Therapist and Case Manager, providing therapy and case management services. Heather later joined Red Rock Bhs- Jordan's Crossing as an Intake and Lead Therapist. In 2016, they became the Manager of Clinical Services at UHS-Cedar Ridge before assuming the position of Director of Admissions.
Most recently, Heather has been with Hope Community Services Inc., where they started as an Associate Clinical Director in 2018. Heather then served as the Clinical Director, overseeing the development and implementation of clinical programs and services, as well as monitoring program performance and budget goals. Currently, Heather holds the role of Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the overall operations of the organization.
Throughout their career, Heather has demonstrated a strong commitment to clinical excellence, program development, and leadership. Heather'sexperience in both the mental health and corporate sectors has equipped their with a diverse skill set and a holistic approach to service provision.
Heather Helberg, MS, LPC-S, obtained their Associates of Arts in Social Sciences from Northern Oklahoma College in 2000. Heather completed their Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Business Administration at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 2002. In 2012, they earned a Masters of Science Degree in Professional Counseling from Mid-America Christian University. Additionally, they obtained a High School Diploma in General Studies from Drummond High School in 1998. Heather is a licensed professional counselor supervisor, having received their certification from the Oklahoma State Board of Behavioral Health in June 2014. Heather also holds the certification of ASI, though details about the institution or the year of attainment are not available.

HOPE Community Services, Inc. has maintained operation since June of 1980 in south Oklahoma City. We are a non-profit outpatient community mental health center that provides a large array of mental health and addiction services. HOPE is dedicated to support and promote a service environment for individuals and families in need of mental health, co-occurring, and integrated healthcare services. Additionally, HOPE operates numerous housing grant opportunities for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, as we work alongside our community partners to serve the most vulnerable. We are certified through the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), and we are nationally accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). We work closely with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, HUD, The City of Oklahoma City, and the Norman Housing Authority to provide services to our consumers and their families. At the heart of all that is done at HOPE, we strive to serve our consumers, our community, and our co-workers to be an agency focused on growth and recovery to empower individuals to live with strength and passion.
