Hope Education Project, Ghana
The Hope Education Project is a human trafficking education and awareness program for schools and communities in Ghana. Our mission is to disrupt the flow of vulnerable Ghanaians trafficked for exploitation within Ghana and externally. Hope Education Project was borne out of our founder's direct experience repatriating Nigerian women trafficked to Dubai for sexual exploitation. His close involvement with rescuing, repatriating and supporting these victims motivated him to work on disrupting and preventing this tragedy at its source. The HEP program has been created in conjunction with our academic partner, The Global Center on Human Trafficking at Montclair State University and Anti-Trafficking International in the USA and our NGO partners in Ghana, Savana Signatures, Norsaac and Act For Change. The program incorporates robust monitoring and evaluation modules to enable refinements after the pilot stage. The Hope Education Project is registered as a non-profit in Ghana and the USA
