Bill Bynum

Bill Bynum has extensive work experience in leadership roles. Bill served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Hope Credit Union, Hope Enterprise Corporation, and Hope Policy Institute from 1995 onwards. Prior to that, they were the Director of Programs at NC Rural Center and the Associate Director at Self-Help Credit Union. In addition, they worked as a Towlsley Policy Maker in Residence at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy from 2021 to 2022 and was a member of the CFPB Agency Review Team for the Biden-Harris Transition Team from 2020 to 2021.

Bill Bynum has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Psychology, which they obtained from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Bill also participated in an Executive Education program at Harvard Business School, where they studied Strategic Perspectives in Nonprofit Leadership.
