Hope Reins of Raleigh

Hope Reins of Raleigh is a non-profit outreach that connects hurting children with rescued horses to inspire true Hope and real healing for every child. We serve children ages 5 to 18 that are struggling with hardship issues such as trauma, physical, sexual and/or emotional abuse, family addictions, loss or grief, chronic or life threatening illness, or who live in an at-risk environment. Hope Reins provides a free of charge, one-on-one session that lasts for 90-minutes for children with a trained leader and horse that has gone through a similar circumstance with the goal of giving these children an opportunity to build a safe relationship, one that fosters an environment of compassion, comfort and most importantly trust. One of the ways Hope Reins generates revenue for its cause is by offering Equine-Assisted Team Building to explore and improve team dynamics and the contribution individuals make to their organizations. We assist corporate groups through experiential outdoor team building events with horses that are unique, challenging and memorable. In addition, groups are invited to participate in ranch improvement projects that further develop team cohesiveness and provide a rewarding outreach experience. Equine Assisted Team Building Benefits: - Build positive interpersonal communication skills - Increase awareness of verbal and non-verbal communication - Improve attention, mindfulness and focus - Identify boundaries within yourself as well as others - Increase cohesiveness of the group or team - Incorporate new methods of operation and direction for your team - Create innovative problem solving solutions - Identify team strengths and areas of improvement Each teambuilding session is individually crafted based on your objectives. The Hope Reins staff will work to understand your goals and challenges as a team to design a set of experiences tailored to meet your specific needs.
