Lydia Freeman

Lydia Freeman is an experienced professional in learning and development with a strong background in social work and community outreach. Currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at Hope the Mission since May 2024, Lydia previously held positions as a Training and Development Specialist at Volunteers of America Los Angeles and a Training Specialist at Downtown Women's Center. Lydia's earlier experience includes roles at UCLA Health, where networking and community education about the UCLA 50 Plus Program were key responsibilities. As a Lead Social Worker at Valley Village, Lydia provided essential social services to adults with disabilities. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work and a Master's of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California, along with an MBA in International Business from National University.
