Senior Manager of Training and Engagement at Hopelink

Tamarah Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2017, they joined Hopelink, where they initially served as a Center Manager. In this role, they supervised volunteers and Center staff, ensuring smooth operations and quality services to the community. Tamarah also demonstrated strong interpersonal skills while engaging with individuals experiencing crisis or trauma. Later, in 2019, they were promoted to the position of Senior Manager of Training and Engagement. In this role, they designed and implemented training programs for staff, volunteers, and managers, incorporating various training methods and adult learning styles. Tamarah aligned learning strategies with business goals and achieved measurable business impacts. Prior to Hopelink, Tamarah worked at Starbucks Coffee Co. as a Shift Supervisor in 2011. In 2015, they briefly worked as a Sales Manager at I Do Bridal Too, where they managed retail inventory and established daily operations while fostering a supportive team dynamic.

Tamarah Lee's education history begins with their high school education at Mountlake Terrace High School, where they earned their High School/Secondary Diploma and Certificate. Following that, they attended Shoreline Community College from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained their Associate's Degree in Arts Transfer.

In 2015, Tamarah pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Children, Youth & Family Studies from Trinity Lutheran College, which they completed in 2016. Subsequently, they advanced their education and earned a Master's Degree in Social and Sustainable Management from Seattle Pacific University in 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Tamarah has obtained two additional certifications. In September 2016, they completed the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016 certification from Microsoft. Tamarah also completed the MHFA Instructor Training: Materials and Certificate from MHFA in October 2021.
