VP, Early Childhood Programs at HOPES COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP INCORPORATED

Joselyn Estevez-Vargas is the Vice President of Early Childhood Programs at HOPES Community Action Partnership, Incorporated. In this role, they oversee the successful operation of an Early Childhood Program within a Community Action Agency serving over one thousand children and families from diverse ethnic, cultural and social-economic backgrounds.

Estevez-Vargas has been with HOPES for 21 years and 5 months, during which time they have trained, mentored and coached staff at different levels in the fields of education, social services, health and mental health/disabilities. Joselyn has also developed and managed budgets over twelve million dollars, written grants, developed and implemented programs, and adhered to Local, State and Federal regulations.

In addition to their work within HOPES, Estevez-Vargas has also established community partnerships and collaborations to continuously improve and expand quality services. Joselyn has planned, developed, led and facilitated professional development for novice and experienced staff.

Joselyn Estevez-Vargas holds a Master of Science from the Bank Street College of Education, a Bachelor of Arts from New York University in Psychology, and a degree from Wellesley College in Education.
