Kristi Mae worked as a Mental Health Worker from July 2008 to July 2010 and completed their internship as a Psychiatric Social Work Intern from August 2009 to June 2010.
Kristi Mae Wragg, MD, MSW has an extensive education history. Kristi Mae completed their high school prerequisite coursework through dual enrollment at Delta College from 2006 to 2007. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (B.S.W.) at Saginaw Valley State University from 2007 to 2010.
Kristi then obtained their Master's Degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) from the University of Michigan in 2011 and received a Limited License Master's of Social Work (LLMSW) from the State of Michigan in September of the same year.

To specialize in psychiatry, Kristi joined the Sandra & Leon Levine Psychiatry Residency at Carolinas Medical Center, where they underwent rigorous residency training from 2018 to 2022. In September 2022, they became a Board-Certified Psychiatrist through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc. Kristi Mae also acquired additional certifications, including Electroconvulsive Therapy Proficiency, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Proficiency, and a Suboxone Waiver Certification.
Furthermore, Kristi pursued a Fellowship in Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy via the Pearsall Scholarship at the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas from 2022 to 2023. This additional training further enhanced their expertise in the field.
In terms of licensure, they obtained their Licensed Physician status from the North Carolina Medical Board in August 2022. Additionally, in July 2018, they received the Clozapine REMS Certification from the Clozapine REMS Program.
