Otis Washington

Otis Washington is a seasoned professional in mental health and social work with extensive experience across various roles. Currently serving as Program Director and therapist at Dekalb Youth Service Center since August 2013, Otis also holds positions as Pastor at Hopewell Baptist Church and Senior Pastor at The Shepherd’s House. Additionally, Otis coordinates psychiatric evaluations for children as a Therapist/Coordinator with the DeKalb Telepsychiatry Initiative since October 2013. Otis has previously contributed as Mental Health Service Coordinator for the DeKalb County Board of Education from October 2020 to June 2023. Otis holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Auburn University.
