Courtney M. Schaefer

Courtney M. Schaefer, Ed.M., NCC, is an experienced school counselor currently serving at Hopewell Valley Regional School District since August 2018, providing individualized and small group counseling to elementary students. With a strong foundation in counseling, Courtney also served as a School Counselor Intern at John P. Stevens High School and Bartle Elementary School, where responsibilities included implementing counseling curricula and facilitating student support programs. Prior experience includes various roles in food and beverage management at Plainfield Country Club, where Courtney developed leadership and supervisory skills. Courtney holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Rutgers Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resource Management and Psychology from Rutgers University.
