Academically, Emily Ownsworth earned a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia in 2018, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology between 2016 and 2018, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Griffith University from 2012 to 2014.
