Harriet Thoeny

Harriet Thoeny serves as Chair of the International Advisory Committee at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) since January 2024. Thoeny holds the position of Médecin-cheffe transversale at hôpital fribourgeois (HFR) and has been a Full Professor at Université de Fribourg/Universität Freiburg since January 2020. Additionally, Thoeny is a consultant in the Department of Radiology at HUG - Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève and an Adjunct Professor of Urology at Universität Bern. Thoeny's role as Consultat Radiologist in the Department of Urology at Insel Gruppe and their position as Vice-President of the Board of Trustees at Landesspital Liechtenstein highlight further expertise. Thoeny has been an Executive Board member and Secretary of the International Cancer Imaging Society since January 2019, and previously chaired the Regional Committee for Europe at RSNA from December 2018 to November 2022. From January 2009 to January 2020, Thoeny served as an Associate Professor of Radiology at Universität Bern.
