Shaun Evans has a strong background in education, working their way up from a Middle School Teacher at Achieve Language Academy from November 2018 to June 2020, to a Mathematics Teacher at Maplewood Middle School from July 2020 to June 2021. Shaun then transitioned to a role as an Assistant Principal at Anoka-Hennepin School District from August 2021 to June 2022 before moving on to Faribault Middle School as an Assistant Principal from July 2022 to October 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Principal at Hopkins Public Schools, starting in October 2023.
Shaun Evans completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Community Relations & Creative Writing from Concordia University-St. Paul Minnesota in 2010. From 2016 to 2018, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Concordia University-St. Paul. In 2019, they pursued Educational Leadership and Administration at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Currently, they are working towards a Doctor of Education (EdD) at Concordia University-St. Paul, anticipated to be completed in 2024.
