Jose Gonzalez

Jose Gonzalez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jose started their career at Virgin Media as an Engineer in 2006, where they were responsible for installing and setting up residential telephony, Catv, and Broadband Home Networks. Jose worked there until 2008.

In 2010, Jose joined Richmond Adult Community College as a Web Developer and E-Learning Coordinator. Jose'sresponsibilities included developing and maintaining the college's website and student intranet using Drupal and Moodle platforms. Jose also oversaw database development, technical programming, web design, and daily operations. Jose worked there until 2012.

After that, Jose worked at the University of Chichester as an E-Learning Web Developer. From 2019 to 2020, Jose worked at BT as an AWS DevOps Engineer. Jose was brought into the team to help with the development and migration of a replacement software to AWS. Jose focused on data migration and redesigning parts of the solution to fully embrace the cloud and serverless technology.

In 2020, Jose worked as a Software Engineer at Roomolo - Direct Booking Hotel Deals, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining software systems. Jose also worked as a Software Engineer at mimacom during the same period.

Most recently, Jose joined Hopla! Software in 2021 as a Senior Software Developer. Jose is involved in designing, developing, and maintaining security-related microservices and applications for a top European bank. Jose works on the bank's core architecture to be consumed and serviced as a SAAS. Jose primarily uses Java 11, Springboot, Azure, and OpenShift for their work.
