Doug also worked as a Business Development and Tech. Marketing & Sales professional at CDB Consulting and as an Optical Network Planner/Sales Engineer at Nortel Networks, where they designed and implemented optical networks for carrier and enterprise customers.

Doug Belcher has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.) with a focus on Communications/Electro-optics, Power & Controls from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Doug also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance & Marketing from the University of Idaho. Additionally, they obtained the Engineer In Training certification from the State of Colorado in December 2001 and the Fiber Optics Designer (FOD) certification from IDEX Health & Science, LLC - Melles Griot in March 1995.
