- Reserve your Hopper now - A young start-up from Augsburg develops innovative mobility solutions for the city. Plagued by traffic jams and in search of an ecological alternative for daily journeys? With the Hopper, a hybrid of e-bike and car, a creative forge from Augsburg has launched a completely new, comfortable vehicle type. The advantages of the Hopper are obvious: Through a combination of pedal drive and electric motor, the Hopper - depending on the power source - saves between 97 and 100 percent of the CO2 emissions that a car would cause. The price per mile is at most 10 percent of the cost of a small car. Thanks to the canopy and two front wheels, the occupants stay dry in all weather and the Hopper always stays on track. Besides the driver(s), another person (or two children) can sit in the back seat. In addition, a luggage compartment offers space for luggage (70 to 220 liters). The difference to classic cargo bikes is mainly in the comfort: The passengers have comfortable seats and the steering wheel is used for steering. With a turning circle of less than two meters, it can negotiate even the tightest curves - unlike many cargo bikes. The founders are a young start-up team from Augsburg, consisting of engineers with extensive experience in the automotive industry as well as marketing experts. The final prototype is currently under construction and reservations can already be made today. More information on our website: www.hopper-mobility.com. - pre-order now -
