James Codling

James Codling has been working in the business and investment industry since 2009. In 2012, they took on Non Executive Director roles at Logstor and Biffa. In 2013, they became Senior Director, European Business Director, Impressionist & Modern Art and Swiss Art at Christie's and Managing Director and Head of Investment at VentureFounders. In 2017, they became an Elevator at Pitch@Palace and Non Executive Director at HIRING HUB. In 2019, they became Non Executive Director at Hopster. In 2021, they became Managing Partner at Volution. Additionally, in 2009, they founded and owned Carmelita, a family owned vineyard in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina.

James Codling completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Birmingham between 1995 and 2000. In 2013, they obtained a WSET Level 2 Award in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Additionally, they have obtained certifications as a Level 1 Tennis Coach from the Lawn Tennis Association and a Level 2 Award in Wine & Spirits (Merit) from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), as well as a Level 2 Tennis Coach from the Lawn Tennis Association.
