Tim Richards is the current CEO at Hoptroff. Prior to this, they were with IBC - International Broadcasting Convention, Clusters Ltd, Ravensbeck Limited, and Sparrowhawk Media where they served as the Chief Operating Officer. Tim was responsible for global business operations which employed more than 200 people in 8 cities around the world. This included overseeing business operations, systems and processes, logistics, technology, IT, European programming, business development initiatives, HR, foreign language dubbing and broadcasting operations. Under their leadership, Sparrowhawk was sold to NBC Universal with bank debt repaid and the private equity investors, Providence Equity & 3i, doubling their money and delivering a 32%+ IRR.

Richards began their career in 1993 as the Head of Broadcasting for QVC UK and then moved to Walt Disney Television International in 1995 where they served as EVP of Operations until 2005.

Tim Richards has a degree in mathematics, economics, and geography from William Parker College. Tim also has a degree in improvisation, public speaking, and spoken English from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
