Kristin Kelley Lax is an experienced professional in alumni relations and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Alumni Relations at Horace Mann School since August 2012, where previous responsibilities included the role of Assistant Director of Annual Giving. Prior to this, Kristin held the position of Project Manager at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) from January 2010 to November 2011. Earlier in Kristin's career, significant roles were undertaken at Orbis International as the Director and Manager of Major Gifts from September 2000 to December 2003, and as Special Assistant to the Dean at Parsons School of Design - The New School from January 1998 to August 2000. Kristin earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Social Studies for Grades 6-12 from Tufts University and a Bachelor's degree in History from Boston College, following education at Darien High School from 1982 to 1985.
