Mike Weckenbrock

Mike Weckenbrock currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Life & Retirement at Horace Mann, a position held since March 2018. Prior to this role, Mike was with Ameritas from June 2012 to February 2018, where responsibility included serving as Vice President of Retirement Plans and co-leading the division. Mike also held various positions at Ameritas Life Insurance Corp., including Vice President of Business Risk and Compliance, as well as Assistant Counsel, providing legal support to insurance and investment divisions. Earlier legal experience includes working as an Attorney at The Union Central Life Insurance Company and a Financial Representative at Foresters Financial Services. Mike holds a BA in Economics and Government from Centre College and a JD from Northern Kentucky University—Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
