Dan Chaput

Dan Chaput is an experienced software developer currently employed at HORIBA, where responsibilities include developing automotive emissions testing automation software with an emphasis on real-time operating systems since August 2021. Prior to this role, Dan served as a Senior Application Engineer, focusing on full-stack development of an IoT enterprise facility management application within an international Agile team. Dan's experience at HORIBA includes positions as an Application Engineer, where emissions testing automation software was deployed and configured at customer sites, and as a Driver Developer, involved in creating software and device drivers for emissions measurement systems. Dan also gained teaching experience at McMaster University, supporting engineering courses in economics and communication skills while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering and Management from 2010 to 2015.
