James Lawton-Hayes

James Lawton-Hayes is an experienced Technical Project Manager currently employed at HORIBA MIRA since November 2021. Prior to this role, James served as an EMC Test Engineer at 3C TEST LIMITED from March 2018 to November 2021. James began their career at McDonald's, progressing from Crew Member to Crew Trainer and finally to Shift Manager, overseeing restaurant operations from October 2012 to February 2018. Earlier experience includes working as a Casual Catering Assistant at Chester Race Company Ltd from January 2010 to October 2012 and participating in a work experience program at Airbus in April 2012. James holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Motorsport Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from Wrexham University, alongside a BTEC National Level 3 in Engineering Technology from Deeside College.
