Carsten Schäfer

Carsten Schäfer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Carsten is currently employed by Sdui as the CFO, where they contribute to building an operating system for modern education. Prior to this, they worked as an Interim CFO at Sdui. In addition, Carsten has co-founded two companies, Venture Advisory Partners and Horizon, where they hold the positions of Co-Founder and Advisor. Carsten is also a Partner at PHX Invest.

Before their current roles, Carsten worked at finleap, a fintech company, as the Head of Portfolio and Interim CFO for finleap connect GmbH. Carsten also served as a CFO Associate during their tenure at finleap.

Prior to their involvement in the fintech industry, Carsten served as the CFO for Emma - The Sleep Company, overseeing financial operations for two years. Carsten gained valuable experience in the investment banking field through an internship at VICTORIAPARTNERS GmbH and worked as a Student Trainee at Heinermann Consulting GmbH.

Carsten began their career with an internship as a Junior Marketing Manager at Philips and as a Junior Analyst at exchangeBA AG. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a breadth of knowledge in finance, consulting, and entrepreneurship.

Carsten Schäfer completed their education from 2008 to 2015 at Hochschule Rhein Main, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Business Administration. In 2012, they also attended the University of Deusto, focusing on Internationale Geschäfte. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2009, they studied Internationale Weinwirtschaft at Hochschule Geisenheim University.
