Ian Ha

Ian Ha has over 15 years of professional work experience. Ian began their career in 2004 as a Software Engineer at AFFINITY SYSTEMS INC, where they worked as a consultant to design and implement solutions that met client specifications. In 2011, they worked as an Agile Software Engineer (Contract) at Xtreme Labs Inc. and then as a Software Engineer at Blu Trumpet (acquired by Breaktime Studios), where they were the first full-time hire and part of the core development team responsible for building a next-generation mobile ad platform. In 2012, they wrote the software for Shitter, an e-commerce site allowing Twitter users to order printed toilet paper with their Twitter feed of choice. From 2013-2017, they worked at Work Market (acquired by ADP) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were involved in general product development with a backend focus in Java and worked to scale out their tech stack as a member of the Platform Team designing and building their next-generation micro-services architecture. In 2017, they worked at Vestwell as a Senior Software Engineer. Since 2018, they have been Co-founder & Head of Operations at Horizon Blockchain Games Inc.

Ian Ha attended the University of Toronto, where they earned an Honours BSc in Computer Science.
