Shawna Bastian

Shawna Bastian is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Middle School Principal at Horizon Charter School since August 2021. With a background that includes roles as Principal/Regional Administrator and MTSS Coordinator at Horizon Charter School, Shawna's expertise spans K-8 virtual learning environments. Previous positions include Dean of Academics at Mission College Preparatory Catholic High School, where significant contributions were made in developing a Guidance Counseling program and implementing student support systems. Shawna also has teaching experience in English at both Yuba City High School and the Center for Talented Youth programs by Johns Hopkins University.
