Bernice Freeman

Bernice Freeman is an accomplished professional in the field of research and development with extensive experience across multiple roles in the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as R&D Manager at OGT since June 2024, Bernice previously held significant positions at Revvity, including Senior Scientist I for Transfer and Product Development and Diagnostics R&D Manager, where expertise in project management, new product introductions, and compliance with ISO regulations was demonstrated. Additional experience includes work as an Assay Scientist/QA Specialist at Cambridge Epigenetix and various roles within Revvity focusing on custom projects and reference standards development. Early career foundations were built at Retroscreen Virology Group plc and Thermo Fisher Scientific, where strong laboratory skills and quality control knowledge were gained. Bernice holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Coventry University.
