Katie Wilkie

Katie Wilkie is a seasoned professional in the ophthalmology field, currently serving as the Lead Technician and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant at Horizon Eye Care since February 2013. Katie has a solid background in ophthalmic assistance, having previously worked at Associates in Ophthalmology, Carolina Eyecare Physicians, and MUSC Storm Eye Institute. In addition to clinical roles, Katie has experience as a freelance medical illustrator, creating diagrams for surgical procedures published in renowned medical textbooks. Katie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of South Carolina Aiken, completed in 2004.
