Jeff Smothers

Jeff Smothers has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jeff currently holds the position of Business Intelligence Manager at Horizon Farm Credit, where they started in July 2022. Previously, Jeff worked at AgChoice Farm Credit, ACA for 14 years, serving as the Information Systems Manager from June 2008 to July 2022.

In addition to their roles in the finance and technology sectors, Jeff also has experience in the non-profit sector. Jeff held the position of Part-Time Financial Manager/IT Support at Capital Area Christian Church from October 2008 to December 2013. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Pastor at New Love in Christ Church, where they focused on improving business operations and church health from June 2004 to May 2008. Jeff also worked as the Kid's Escape Pastor/Director at Capital Area Christian Church, overseeing a childcare program and creating a junior high ministry from July 2000 to May 2004.

Throughout their career, Jeff has demonstrated proficiency in financial management, IT support, project management, and leadership.

Jeff Smothers earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Penn State University, which they attended from 1992 to 1994. Later, in 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
