Jim Neitzel

Jim Neitzel has extensive work experience in the IT field. Jim has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including IT Specialist and CIO at MHW since 2019. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic planning, coordinating, directing, and designing operational activities related to ERP, EDI, and Telecommunications. Jim managed a yearly budget of $1M and led a team of 7 resources.

Prior to MHW, Jim Neitzel served as EVP and CIO at Horizon Group USA from 2011. Jim had similar responsibilities, managing a yearly budget of $1M and leading a team of 15 resources. Jim successfully evaluated, re-designed, and re-implemented the inherited failing ERP system.

Before Horizon Group USA, Jim Neitzel was VP and CIO at Sportcraft from 2004 to 2011. Jim provided strategic direction, leadership, and management of IT. Jim also handled interim responsibilities in managing, sourcing, and planning operations in 2010.

Earlier in their career, Jim Neitzel held positions such as VP of IT at Bell Automotive Products, Inc. from 2000 to 2004, VP of IT at Bay Travel Gear from 2000 to 2004, Applications Manager at Universal Technical Institute from 1999 to 2000, Applications Manager at Bell Sports from 1993 to 1999, and IT Manager at DeBruyn Product Company from 1990 to 1993.

Jim Neitzel started their career as a Project Manager at Westinghouse Electric Company from 1987 to 1990 and as a Sr Programmer Analyst at Federal Mogul from 1984 to 1987. Jim has ample experience in managing teams, implementing systems, and improving business processes.

Jim Neitzel attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1977 to 1982, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Computer Science.
