Amelia Hakes (Wright)

Amelia Hakes (Wright), CPA has a diverse range of work experience in the finance and accounting field. Amelia began their career as an intern at Tronconi Segarra & Associates LLP in 2009, where they gained valuable experience before moving up to the role of Staff Accountant in the audit department. In this role, Amelia focused on unit audits of sporting and gaming locations and not-for-profits in Western New York.

In 2013, Amelia joined Horizon Health Services, where they held various positions including Senior Accountant, Finance Supervisor, Finance Manager, Controller, Director of Finance, and currently, VP of Finance. In their current role, Amelia oversees the overall financial operations of the company, including monthly reporting, payroll, retirement plan administration, and financial audits. Amelia is also dedicated to employee engagement and strives to implement programs and processes that benefit both employees and patients, contributing to the overall growth and success of Horizon Health Services.

Amelia Hakes (Wright), CPA, has a strong educational background in accounting. Amelia earned their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo, where they attended from 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, Amelia pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from the University at Buffalo, attending from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Amelia Hakes (Wright) became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in March 2013.
