Jacob Haacker

As the Chief Information Office and Security Officer, Jake is responsible for the development and execution of information technology strategies for the entire organization including the Electronic Health Record (EHR), reporting analytics, network security and IT support. He oversees the IT Infrastructure Team, Help Desk, Cyber Security and Business Intelligence departments.

Under Jake’s leadership, Horizon has transformed its technology infrastructure to improve business operations, reduce operational cost, enhance patient care and streamline analytic reporting to achieve interoperability.

Prior to joining Horizon, Jake spent over 10 years in the IT Industry consulting for companies throughout New York State to implement technology projects and improve business processes. He is a graduate of the University of Buffalo’s School of Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems.
