Alicia Suggs

Alicia Suggs's work experience includes serving as an Adjunct Professor at Monroe College since 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Market Strategy Development at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey from 2018 to the present. Alicia also completed the Executive Leadership Development Program with roles in the Commercial Business Unit and Healthcare Management & Transformation. Before that, Alicia worked at the Greater New York Hospital Association as a Senior Project Manager & Finance Operations Liaison and a Project Manager for Transformational Initiatives. Alicia also worked at Anthem, Inc. as a Provider Experience Consultant and at Northwell Health as a Business Manager and Business Analyst. Earlier in their career, Alicia held various roles at MagnaCare, including Manager and Supervisor of Data Integrity and Data Analyst.

Alicia Suggs has a diverse education background. Alicia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Baruch College. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Management from Stony Brook University. Additionally, Alicia completed a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate Program from Cornell University.

In terms of certifications, Alicia Suggs has obtained a Competitive Intelligence Professional Level 1 (CIP) certification from the Academy of Competitive Intelligence in March 2022. Alicia also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the PMI NYC Chapter, which they obtained in April 2016. Furthermore, Alicia has achieved a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the Aveta Business Institute in May 2012.
