Ranyan Lu Ph.D., M.D.

Ranyan Lu, PHD, MD, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Ranyan is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Performance Measurement & Predictive Analytics at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Prior to this, they held various positions at UnitedHealth Group, including Vice President of Clinical Analytics & Development, National Director of Clinical Analytics, and Director of Medical Informatics. During their time at UnitedHealth Group, they led teams in delivering data analytics capabilities and solutions, developing provider performance programs, and managing enterprise data and analytics assets. Before joining UnitedHealth Group, they worked as a Research Consultant at Kaiser Permanente.

Ranyan Lu, PHD, MD, MBA has a comprehensive education background. Ranyan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. Additionally, they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Peking University. Ranyan Lu also pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Epidemiology from the Beijing Institute of Heart, Lung, and Blood Vessel Diseases. Lastly, they completed a Healthcare Executive MBA program at the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business.
