Stephen Elder

Stephen Elder is an experienced professional in security and law enforcement, currently serving as the Enterprise Security Manager at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey since August 2016. Prior to this role, Stephen held various leadership positions within the Bernards Township Police Department from 1991 to 2016, including Lieutenant of the Patrol Division and Lieutenant of Professional Standards/Administration, where notable achievements included leading the department through a successful accreditation process. Additionally, Stephen has extensive experience in investigative supervision as the Lieutenant-Detective Bureau Supervisor, managing substantial case loads. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from Seton Hall University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Gettysburg College, along with military training as a Field Artillery Officer.
