John Marson is an accomplished marketing and media strategist with extensive experience in the advertising industry. Currently, Marson serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Advertising Research Foundation since February 2025, while also holding the position of SVP, Managing Director at Horizon Media since November 2012. In this role, Marson leads strategic communications planning and media measurement across the United States and Canada, contributing to over $500 million in new business and organic revenues. Prior experience includes serving as VP, Associate Managing Director of Resource Development at Kraft Foods Group, where Marson integrated media into the brand planning process, and as VP, Associate Media Director at Foote, Cone & Belding, overseeing media planning for major clients and earning industry recognition. Marson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications Management from Indiana University Bloomington.
