Alice Tiong

Alice Tiong is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical power engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Planning Engineer at Horizon Power since April 2023, Alice previously held the position of Electrical Engineer at BHP from June 2022 to March 2023. Alice’s extensive experience at Western Power included roles such as Senior Planning Engineer, Operations Engineer, Transmission Planning Engineer, Distribution Planning Engineer, and Graduate Electrical Engineer from February 2015 to September 2021. Academic contributions as a Tutor at Curtin University and an E-Learning Engineering Assistant at the Engineering Institute of Technology were made between March 2013 and February 2014. Early career experiences include positions as a Vacation Student at Water Corporation and ABB Australia, along with working as a Crew Member at Hungry Jack's Australia Pty Ltd from 2006 to 2013. Alice holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Curtin University, completed in 2014.
