Honghe TAN has a strong work experience in the field of ASIC engineering and R&D. Honghe started their career at KTMicro in 2011 as a Senior ASIC Engineer, where they specialized in implementing security algorithms and designing anti-attack methods for IC cards. Honghe then moved on to become the SOC Product Manager and later the Director of the ASIC Department at KTMicro. In 2016, they joined Horizon Robotics as a Senior ASIC Engineer, where they developed CNN Accelerators, ASR Accelerators, and image detection accelerators for their AI chips. Honghe was later promoted to Staff ASIC Engineer and Team Leader, and currently holds the position of Director of the IP R&D Department at Horizon Robotics.
Honghe Tan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University in the year 2004. Honghe further pursued their education at Tsinghua University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Micro-electronics in 2010.
