Gal Shamir

Gal Shamir currently serves as a Project Management Intern at Horizon Surgical Systems since May 2024. Previously, Gal worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Intel Corporation from January 2021 to June 2023, contributing to the development of over 15 thermo-mechanical products and optimizing an automation thermal head design. Gal’s background includes significant leadership experience, having held roles such as Principal Instructor and Branch Manager at the Hebrew Scouts Movement in Israel, where responsibilities included mentoring, curriculum development, and event management. Early experience included a Field Service Representative position at SkiDeal and military service in the Israel Defense Forces as a Course Commander and Field Intelligence Officer. Gal holds a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and is currently pursuing an MBA at UCLA Anderson School of Management.
