Gary Hendrickson

Gary Hendrickson has a diverse work experience in software development and management roles. Gary currently serves as the Director of Software Development at Horizon Systems & Services, Inc. starting in 2023.

Prior to that, Gary worked at J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. from 2021 to 2023, where they held positions as a Software Development Manager and an Associate Development Manager. In these roles, they collaborated with Product Management to develop multi-year product and technology roadmaps. Gary also achieved significant improvements in support time for key applications and reduced UI development time through automation and the creation of reusable components.

Before joining J. J. Keller, Gary had a long tenure at Gordon Flesch Company from 2002 to 2020. Gary started as an Application Developer and gradually moved up to the role of Information Systems Manager, responsible for managing high-visibility IT projects and cross-functional team goals. In this role, they successfully managed the telecom/network infrastructure upgrade while reducing costs by 25%.

Gary's early career includes serving as an Application Developer at the Wisconsin Court System and Wisconsin Supreme Court from 1998 to 2002.

Gary Hendrickson holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, which they obtained between 1993 and 1998. Gary has also acquired a Master's degree in IT Management from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, which they pursued from 2021 to 2023. In addition, Gary has obtained several certifications, including ITIL Foundation Level from PeopleCert in December 2020, Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) and Scrum Product Owner Certified (SPOC) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in March and August 2020 respectively, and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in January 2013.
