Jonathan Block

Jonathan Block has a diverse work experience in event management and marketing. Jonathan is currently working as the Vice President at HORIZONS Conference Center. Prior to this, they worked as the General Manager at ASM Global/ The Dow Event Center & Jolt Credit Union Event Park from 2018 to 2022. Jonathan also served as the Assistant General Manager at the same organization in 2017. Before that, they were the Director of Event Services at ASM Global - The Dow Event Center & Jolt Credit Union Event Park from 2016 to 2017. Jonathan has also owned their own event management company called Sooyo Event Management, LLC from 2011 to 2016. Furthermore, they gained management experience as the Operations/General Manager, In-House Promoter, and Box Office Manager at Temple Theatre from 2004 to 2011. Prior to that, they worked as the Public Relations Director at Great Lakes Storm in 2004. Jonathan's earlier experience includes working as an Account Executive at Birch Run Expo Center in 2003, and as an Account Executive at Princing & Ewend in 2002. Jonathan began their career as a Corps Member/Senior Corps Member at City Year Columbus from 1996 to 1998.

Jonathan Block attended Frankenmuth High School from 1992 to 1996. Jonathan then pursued an Associate's degree in Marketing/Management from Delta College from 1998 to 2001. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Marketing/Management from Northwood University from 2001 to 2002.
