Horizons for Homeless Children
Michelet Jean-Charles is an experienced Benefits Administrator currently working at Horizons for Homeless Children since August 2021. Prior to this role, Michelet served as a Leave of Absence/Benefits Administrator at Perkins School for the Blind from November 2017 to July 2021, where responsibilities included managing employee benefits, FMLA, leaves of absence, and tracking PTO balances. Michelet's tenure at Perkins School for the Blind also included a position as Teaching Assistant, focusing on supporting students with disabilities through behavioral interventions and IEP goals, and as HR Coordinator, providing administrative support for various HR functions. Michelet holds a Master’s of Science in Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Lesley University, as well as two Associate’s Degrees from Bunker Hill Community College and Massachusetts Bay Community College.
