Kiriakos Kontostathis (Kirie)

Kiriakos (Kirie) Kontostathis is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in application development and technical leadership. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Horizons Incorporated since June 2019, Kiriakos oversees technical efforts for manufacturing support applications, including effort planning and resource allocation. Prior experience includes a role at the CERT Division of the Software Engineering Institute, where Kiriakos contributed to a Python/Django web application for real-time hardware status checks. Additionally, Kiriakos has developed algorithms addressing cyber bullying at the Chat Coder Research Group and gained early experience in web development with United States Liability Insurance Group. Kiriakos holds a Master's degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Elizabethtown College.
