John Sorrells

John Sorrells has served as the Consulting Services leader for Horn Solutions since July of 2016. John is a member of the firm’s Energy and Financial Services industry teams and oversees the firm’s Consulting and Managed Services practices. Prior to joining Horn Solutions, he was in leadership roles with Protiviti and Bridgepoint Consulting, and was a Partner with Arthur Andersen’s Risk Consulting service line. John was also a Vice President in the Internal Audit department of global financial services institution. In his over 30-year career, he has provided internal audit, internal control, performance improvement, risk management, financial advisory, and process re-engineering assistance to organizations in a variety of industries. John is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a graduate of Michigan State University. He has served on the Institute of Internal Auditors Houston Chapter Board of Governors from 2007 to 2016 and is a member the Texas Society of CPAs. In his spare time, John enjoys golf, water sports, and attending college and professional sporting events.
