Kyle McLaughlin

Kyle Mclaughlin is an accomplished maritime engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at HORNBECK OFFSHORE® since February 2018, Kyle has progressed through multiple positions including Relief Chief Engineer, 1st Assistant Engineer, 2nd Assistant Engineer, and 3rd Assistant Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Watch Engineer with Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation from February 2015 to December 2017, where responsibilities encompassed maintenance and operation of complex systems on the Liberty Island. Additionally, Kyle completed an engineering cadetship at TE SubCom in May 2013, focusing on learning from the engineering staff aboard a DP-2 diesel electric ship. Kyle holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering Operations from Maine Maritime Academy and completed high school with honors at Rockland District High School.
