Shelby Major

Shelby Major, CPA, is a seasoned tax professional currently serving as a Senior Tax Accountant at HORNBECK OFFSHORE® since October 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Tax Associate at PwC from June 2022 to October 2023 and at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP from August 2018 to June 2022, where Shelby progressed from Tax Associate to Senior Tax Associate. Additional experience includes a Graduate Assistant position at the College of Charleston in the Office of Professional Development and an Auditing Intern role at Cline Brandt Kochenower. Shelby also contributed as a VITA Volunteer with the IRS, assisting in tax preparation for low-income families. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Accounting from the College of Charleston and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Limestone University.
