Amanuel Faris is a seasoned Data Applications Developer at HORNE since November 2019, with previous experience as Assistant Director and Graduate Assistant at Jackson State University, where leadership was provided for over 30 employees serving more than 2000 students. Amanuel contributed to various research projects at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, developing an IoT emergency exit system and improving battery performance using graphene. Additional roles include curriculum design for early childhood education, mentoring in STEM for NSBE DC Professionals, and technical support at the Mississippi e-Center. Amanuel holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Jackson State University.
