Kristin Labriola has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Kristin started their career at Blue Sky Studios, where they worked as a Production Assistant in Development, a Production Coordinator in Animation, and a Development Associate. During their time there, they gained experience in script reading, project management, and collaborating with directors.
Kristin joined Hornet in 2012 as a Development Producer, where they were responsible for the creative strategy behind commercial pitch processes and the management of the director roster. In 2020, they were promoted to Head of Creative Development, where they oversee the overall creative growth of the company. Kristin'sresponsibilities include managing the pitch process, recruiting and cultivating talent, and determining the company's creative direction.
Alongside their work at Hornet, Kristin Labriola has also taught at the School of Visual Arts since 2014. Kristin teaches courses on preparing senior students for the working world and teaches freshman students the principles of storytelling in computer arts.
Kristin Labriola received a Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Art & English Literature from Skidmore College, where they attended from 2001 to 2005.
