Natalie Labarre has a work history that spans several companies and roles. Natalie began their career at Hornet in 2018, where they held multiple positions including Animator, Art Director, Director, and currently serves as the Creative Director. Prior to joining Hornet, Natalie worked as a Freelance Animator, operating their own self-employed business from 2013 to 2018. Natalie also had brief stints at Amazon Studios as a Character Designer in 2017 and at Aardman Nathan Love as a Freelance Illustrator in 2016. Natalie's earliest experience in the industry includes roles as a Designer | 2D Animator at Hornet, 2D Animator at Charlex, and Co-Instructor for the 'Animate Yourself' Workshop at the New York International Children's Film Festival. Natalie has showcased their skills in generating concept art, character design, and animation for various clients, including Bosch, McDonald's, Lowes, Samsung, Eliquis, Navy Federal Credit Union, and Motorola Moto G. Natalie received an opportunity to work as a Designer | 2D Animator for the film "3rd Street Blackout" in 2014. Natalie Labarre completed their education with a Master's Degree in Children's Book Illustration from Anglia Ruskin University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Traditional Animation at the School of Visual Arts from 2009 to 2013. In addition, they attended the Gobelins - International Summer School in 2011, focusing on Traditional Character Animation. Natalie's educational background began at Lycée Français de New York, where they obtained their Baccalauréat Option Américain with a specialization in serie: L from 1993 to 2009.
